• Skip the Trim: Do not cut the stems unless you are adjusting them to fit a specific container or car mount size. They will not absorb water, so fresh diagonal cuts are unnecessary.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Place or display your arrangement away from harsh, direct sunlight. UV rays can cause the natural dyes and colors in preserved flowers to fade over time.
• Keep Away from Humidity and Heat: Avoid high-humidity areas (like unventilated bathrooms) and direct heat sources (like car vents blasting hot air or direct dashboard sun traps), as moisture and extreme heat can degrade the preserved texture.
• Dust Gently: Over time, dust may settle on the petals. Use a hairdryer on a cool, low-speed setting held at a distance, or a soft feather duster to gently remove dust.
• Handle with Care: Preserved flowers can be brittle compared to fresh blooms. Handle the arrangement gently to prevent petal breakage or shedding.
